Do you identify as an early riser? Are you up at the crack of dawn, no matter how late you went to bed the night before? You can thank your internal body clock, which is a very real thing. Scientists say each of us has a biological circadian rhythm that actually comes from our genetics and even runs in families.

People who wake up early tend to have internal clocks that run a bit shorter, so they feel sleepy earlier at night and wake up earlier in the morning. Their sleep hormone, melatonin, kicks in sooner — and fades sooner — while a morning boost of cortisol helps them wake up alert. But, of course, habits still have something to do with it. Morning sunlight, regular sleep routines, and exercise can reinforce an earlier schedule. On the other hand, things like late-night screen time, indoor lighting, and caffeine can push your clock later.

A new survey reveals that 75% of singles say the way you keep your car says a lot about you, and 67% say a messy one can be a sign of a messy life. On the flip side, 65% say a clean car makes you seem more put-together and intentional. 25% said they’ve cut a date short because of the state of the person’s car.

These are some of the things about someone’s car that give people the “ick”:

Trash on the floor — 41%
Bad smell — 37%
Leftover food or drinks — 37%
Cigarette smell — 32%
Crumbs on the seat — 30%

The survey also asked respondents about the grossest things they’ve seen in the car of someone they were on a date with:

A dead cat (in a box)
Roaches
Maggots
Cigarette butts all over the floor
Half-eaten hamburger under the seat
40 old McDonald’s bags
Boogers wiped on the seat
Pee in a bottle
Puke on the floor
Moldy half-gallon of milk in the passenger eat
