About Us

About KLTZ/Mix-93

KLTZ (1240 AM) and its sister station Mix-93 (KLAN 93.5 FM) are local radio stations serving Glasgow, Montana, and northeast Montana since 1954. Founded by W.L. "Bill" Holter, KLTZ's call sign evokes "kilts" as a nod to Glasgow's Scottish roots, while KLAN honors Scottish clan heritage.

Our History

KLTZ first aired in 1954 with a country music format that continues today. Mix-93 launched in 1983, expanding coverage with contemporary hits for the region. Both stations operate from 504 2nd Ave South in Glasgow under Glasgow Media Group.

Our Mission

We deliver country music on KLTZ alongside local news, high school sports broadcasts, and community talk shows like "Live Under the Big Sky" hosted by Stan Ozark. Features such as "The Tim Phillips Show," Trad-e-o trading program, and giveaways keep listeners connected to northeast Montana life.

Our Team

Tim Phillips owns and manages as Program Director/General Manager. Key staff includes News/Sports Director Stan "Boomer" Ozark, and production team members Leila Seyfert, Maxwell Knodel, Keirsten Wethern, with support from Gwen Page and Georgie Kulczyk.
