Wondering how your sex life compares to everyone else’s? Thanks to new research, we’re getting a peek at just how often married people across the country are having sex. And it turns out, there’s a wide range when it comes to frequency.

Researchers at NORC at the University of Chicago did a survey asking couples how often they’ve had sex during the last 12 months. Responses from the 1,893 married respondents show:

32.5% said not at all
11.3% said once or twice during the year
11.7% said about once a month
15.3% said two or three times a month
12.9% said about once a week
12.2% said two or three times a week
4.1% said more than three times a week

Of course, this is just one look at the sex lives of married people, another study from 2014 found that married people did it about 55 times a year, compared to 59 times a year for unmarried people. Research from telehealth platform Hims shows that the average American adult has sex 53 times a year, or about once a week. The thing is, there’s no ideal amount of sex people should be having, no sweet spot that leads to a happy relationship, so experts suggest doing it as often as they like and not worrying about hitting some goal number.

A new survey by Talker Research reveals that nearly half of people still use their parents' home for storage. Other findings:

- 82% of Gen Z’ers keep belongings at their parents’ home

- 69% of Millennials keep belongings at their parents’ home

- 62% of Gen Z’ers feel their homes are overflowing

- 35% of people keep some belongings in a storage unit

Today is National Underwear Day - You can celebrate by wearing your favorite undies... or not wearing any underwear at all — which is the personal preference of roughly 17% of Americans, who either always or often go commando, according to a YouGov survey. 40% said they never go commando and always prefer to wear underwear. Of all the folks who choose to go bare under there, the majority are men. Also, younger adults between the ages of 18 and 34 are more likely to do it than older age groups. And where people live may be a factor, too, as the survey shows that people in urban areas and coastal regions — particularly the West Coast — report going commando more than those in rural or conservative areas.

According to a new study, people who read books for as little as 30 minutes a day lived nearly two years longer than non-readers. That's a 20% reduction in mortality risk. Researchers found that this boost in longevity only worked with books — not newspapers or magazines. The study authors suggest that "deep reading" — holding a complex, narrative in your mind over many days — exercises the brain in ways that quick skimming can't match.

Delmarva Now says Crumbl Cookies is going viral with their new Flamin' Lime Crunch Cookie. The cookie has a lime sugar base and a spicy cheese mix and is topped with cream cheese frosting. TikTok reviewers are split, with some calling it one of the bakery's worst and others saying it is not bad.  The cookie has been nicknamed the Flamin' Hot Cheetos cookie

Secret Chicago says a Chicago pizzeria is going viral because they are serving Illinois’ largest pizza. The 62-inch monster is designed for 35 guests. Paulie Gee’s Logan Square makes the giant pizza in a custom Sicilian steel pan. It has 12 toppings and starts at $500. Reservations for the pie must be booked at least 72 hours in advance.

Business Insider says TikTok recently tested a new dating feature/service. The feature was in a section called Hangout that hosts live group chats. It invited users who wanted to flirt to join chat rooms with “great people”. Some chat rooms were inappropriate. TikTok has paused their new dating feature.

If some online rumors are true, Microsoft’s next-generation console — codenamed Project Helix — could be a game-changing hybrid device that bridges the gap between console gaming and the PC. The big idea that has gamers excited involves a "disc-to-digital" program that would allow gamers to insert their old, physical Xbox One and Series X discs to claim permanent digital licenses, which could lead to being able to play those classics across consoles and on the PC.

The state of Tennessee has made it a whole lot easier to welcome a raccoon into your home. Thanks to a new law, state residents no longer have to pay a $31 permit fee to keep a pet raccoon. The good people of Tennessee still can't capture a raccoon from the wild — but they can legally get one from out-of-state breeders, as long as it's vaccinated and was not taken from the wild.

WSVN says a Pensacola, Florida pilot and student were forced to land a small plane on I-10. Engine trouble caused the emergency landing.  The pilot smelled burning oil and immediately touched down without hitting any cars.

The NY Post says some female Tour de France cyclists are being accused of cheating by padding their bras to obtain an unfair advantage. Aerodynamics professor Bert Blocken says, "We are talking about a Chest Fairing, which alters the airflow around the body, thereby reducing overpressure on the thighs. As a result, the rider experiences less air resistance. It is not that you gain a benefit of tens of seconds with this in a time trial, but in a ride of 20 to 30 kilometers, it can yield seconds that can be decisive." Padded bra use is currently prohibited by the International Cycling Union.

WPLG says nude dining nights have started at the CLASS Soiree Steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida. Dinners occur on the first Monday of each month. Tickets are $250 for men, $150 for women, or $300 for couples. Owner Maurad Ali says it is a five-star experience and that the staff are trained and respectful. The city of Hollywood says, “Yes, it's legal. It's legal because the staff members working are clothed.”
