Glasgow Schools Welcomes New Staff

Superintendent Brenner Flaten proudly announces the 2026-27 Glasgow School District “Signing Class”. We are so excited that these individuals have chosen to become Scotties! Certified Staff

Morgan Pope - High School English Mrs. Pope is no stranger to GHS as she moves from a Special Education Para-Professional role into a full-time classroom role in our 9-12 English Department. She will be teaching LS English and Basic English during the 2026-27 school year. She is a native of Georgia.

Sierra Legare - K-12 Speech Pathologist Mrs. Legare begins her first FULL year with GSD as our licensed speech pathologist! Sierra is a valuable member of our team and will bring a high level of services to each of our three campuses. She is a Wolf Point native with an undergraduate degree from University of Montana and her Speech Pathology education through Minot State in North Dakota.

Sami Poulsen - Pre-K-2nd Grade Special Education Mrs. Poulsen will start the 2026-27 school year as our contracted Special Education caseload manager for our primary grade levels at Irle Elementary School. Sami is a certified special education teacher through Montana OPI who comes to us with two years of experience as a Special Education Classroom teacher in Burlington, Wyoming.

Leadership Team

Nate Adams - Transportation Coordinator

Nate comes to the Glasgow School District with a wealth of mechanical experience throughout his military career and in commercial service. He was most recently head of transportation, custodial, and maintenance with the Nashua School District. Classified Staff

Lyle Dowell - GHS Custodial/Maintenance Lyle joined our custodial staff this summer as part of the evening crew at our High School campus. Lyle comes to our building operations team from Tire Rama in Glasgow.

Dawn Gray - Irle Paraprofessional (Special Education Alternative Core) Mrs. Gray moved into the Glasgow Public School system from State Street Academy in Bay City, Michigan where she served as both a substitute and a full-time teacher in the Special Education Department. Dawn has nearly completed 100 advanced education credits and has been a lifelong foster parent.

Heather Hooper - Irle Paraprofessional Mrs. Hooper begins a new role at Irle Elementary school after serving as an educator for three years with Head Start in Glasgow. Her experience with pre-school aged students will serve her well as she transitions into K-5 education.

Paige Acuna - Route Bus Driver Paise is a very experienced school bus driver from Williston, North Dakota. We are thrilled to be able to gain someone that has real on the job experience who has consistently transported students safely on a daily yellow bus route. She will be driving St. Marie Bus #3. Everett Clifton - Route Bus Driver Everett moves from substitute route driver into a full-time role this school year. Everett successfully navigated all routes during the 2025-26 school year and will now be driving St. Marie Bus #10 as the community of St. Marie moves back to two separate bus routes.

High School Activities Department

Colby Minert - Head Flag Football Coach Colby Minert currently serves as the Superintendent of Opheim Schools. Opheim recently signed an agreement with us to Co-Op for ALL 5-12 athletics. We are excited to welcome Colby who served as a volunteer Special Teams Football Coach for GHS in 2024 and has a wealth of High School Head Coaching experience in 6-Man Football, Basketball, and Track and Field with Box Elder Schools.

Paul Yoakam - Head Girls Basketball Coach Coach Yoakam has a lengthy resume of Head Coaching Experience and comes from a family of well-accomplished bloodlines. Paul spent many years as a Head Cross Country, Basketball, and Track & Field Coach in Miles City before spending the last 7 years back home in Glasgow as both a Head Boys Basketball and Head Track & Field Coach.

Sam Tedrow - Head Track & Field Coach Coach Tedrow will move from an Assistant High School role on the Scottie Track & Field staff into the Head position for the spring of 2027. Sam has previous coaching experience with Scottie Boys Basketball and also currently serves as the Offensive Coordinator for the Scottie Football program.

Taryn Aberg - GHS Paraprofessional Taryn will step into a teacher-aide role after previously serving Glasgow Schools as a substitute. Taryn is no stranger to school operations after serving as Valley County Superintendent of Schools from April of 2014 to January of 2021. Hannah Rabson - GMS Paraprofessional

Hannah begins her first year as a Para educator for Glasgow Schools after closing out last school year as a substitute. Hannah is a highly respected and very experienced teacher-aide; having previously served in the same role at Havre High School.

Wayne Linder - GMS Paraprofessional/E-Bus Driver Wayne comes to us in a dual-role. He will serve as a paraprofessional teacher-adie at GMS while simultaneously driving the HWY 2 Nashua E-Bus Route.
