Scottie Middle School Sports Info: 5th Graders Allowed To Participate In Individual Sports This Year

The 2026-2027 Scottie Middle School Fall Sports Season is right around the corner, and we are excited to get another great year of athletics started!

A few important reminders for parents and athletes:
We have expanded opportunities this year!
5th & 6th graders are now eligible for all individual sports (Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track)
6th graders are now eligible for all team sports (Football, Volleyball, and Basketball)
All athletes must have a current physical completed before they can practice.

Here is the schedule for our first fall practices:
Glasgow Scottie Middle School Cross Country
August 17, 4:00–5:30 PM
Glasgow Middle School Parent meeting will follow practice.
(5th graders will be allowed to ride the school bus to the Middle School for practices during the school year.)

Glasgow Middle School Football
August 17, 10:00 AM -Meet at the Middle School
Parent meeting will be August 18 following practice.

Glasgow Middle School Volleyball
August 18, 4:00 PM - Glasgow Recreation Department on Tuesday and Wednesday,  4:15-6 pm. Parent meeting is 6:15 on Wednesday.
