One man is proving that the “lottery curse” is real. James Farthing won the $167-million Powerball jackpot in April and he’s been on a spree since. A crime spree. A Florida man with a long criminal record led deputies on a chase and tried to ditch a bag full of guns and drugs out his car window. Deputies tried to stop 29-year-old Donnie Williams during a traffic stop in Deltona, but he sped off instead. A police helicopter watched as he tossed a black bag out of his window that had a loaded gun and large amounts of meth, fentanyl, and crack cocaine inside. Williams crashed into a backyard and ran into the woods, where a police dog named Benny tracked him down and caught him. He is now being held without bond on multiple felony charges.
