Valley County Community Foundation Scholarships Available

The Valley County Community Foundation (VCCF) is happy to announce our college scholarship application is now open. Submissions are due May 31, 2026. New this year is a single application for all scholarships available with the goal of simplifying the application & selection process for scholarships. Individuals familiar with VCCF may remember in prior years our scholarships having separate applications & deadlines. This year, qualified students interested in applying will find the new submission form on our scholarship webpage: www.valleycountycf.net/scholarships. Three scholarships are offered through our foundation: the Feda Scholarship for the Trades, Fuhrman Memorial Scholarship, & the Thomas & Cynthia Markle Scholarship for Advanced Degree Study. Any student of Valley County is welcome to apply. To date, VCCF has awarded over $140,000 in college scholarships. In 2025 alone, VCCF gave $19,316 to scholarship recipients. For more information on VCCF’s scholarships or to support our local youth by giving to the foundation, visit www.valleycountycf.net.
