FMDH Foundation Hosts 27th Annual Golf Tournament in Support of Local Healthcare

The FMDH Foundation’s 27th Annual Golf Tournament took place Saturday, June 13th at Sunnyside Golf Club, bringing together community members and local businesses for a day centered on community and giving back.

With beautiful weather, plenty of laughter, and strong participation, the tournament created a fun, welcoming atmosphere from start to finish—making it an enjoyable day for everyone involved.

The FMDH Foundation recognized Independence Bank and Uprise Consulting Group as this year’s Premier Sponsors. Their support, along with that of additional sponsors and participants, played a key role in the success of the event.

Players were treated to delicious meals from Toodie’s Café throughout the tournament, capped off with a BBQ pulled pork dinner courtesy of Cornwell Ranch.

As for the winners—congrats to Opportunity Bank (Kevin Hohlen, Jed Kirkland, Billy Allestad, and Ryan Thievin) for taking home first place! Rounding out the top five were Plentywood Hardware in second, Angry Birdies in third, Glendive Medical Center in fourth, and Blend 10 in fifth.

The day included a 50/50 raffle that raised $600. Lucky winner Lindsey Peterson went home with $300. There were also plenty of hole prizes that kept the fun going on all 18 holes.

Thanks to the incredible support from our local businesses, team sponsors, and generous donors, the tournament raised over $18,000! Proceeds from the annual tournament support FMDH Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services and access across Valley County.

In 2026, the FMDH Foundation has already funded the purchase of one bariatric air mattress and three standard air mattresses for Valley View Home, contributing to improved patient care and comfort. There is an additional $88,000 in funding that will be directed toward essential medical equipment and other local healthcare needs in 2026.
