National Weather Service Projecting Wet Weekend for NE Montana

The next weather system will bring showers and thunderstorms to NE Montana starting this afternoon and evening. Afternoon and evening storms Friday could briefly become severe with hail and strong wind before tapering into rain showers Friday night into the weekend and slowly exiting Monday.

Excessive rainfall is possible Saturday and Sunday with totals ranging from a half inch to an inch and a half.
