Sean Garcia Dies Before Sentencing on Charge of Sexually Assaulting a Child
Sean Michael Garcia, who was convicted in April of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 12 in Valley County, has died, according to Valley County Sheriff Tom Boyer.
Garcia was scheduled to appear in court Monday for sentencing after a Valley County jury found him guilty on April 9. The conviction carried a potential sentence of 4 to 100 years in the Montana State Prison.
At this time, officials have not released the cause or circumstances surrounding Garcia's death.
