Extreme Heat Warning In Effect This Weekend

...EXTREME HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SATURDAY TO 6 AM MDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with highs between 93 and 103 on Saturday and highs between 97 and 110 on Sunday expected.
* WHERE...All of northeast Montana.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Saturday to 6 AM MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
