Valley County DUI Task Force Scholarship

Valley County DUI Task Force Scholarship. The DUI Task Force has created a one-page essay contest for High School Seniors living & attending school within Valley County. Your voice matters & we want to hear it. To be eligible, applicants must currently be a high school senior in Valley County; must have plans to attend a college or trade school upon the completion of high school graduation; Applicants must not have a history of Minor in Possessions, Driving Under the Influence or have any drug or alcohol related infractions. Requirements - Essays must be typed, double spaced, & 500-700 words in length; must submit the essay before May 1, 2026; Essay should be written about the following two topics: 1 - Why you have chosen to be above the influence; 2 - Reflect on the importance of being responsible & the impact you have had on your peers in doing so. Scholarships will be judged based upon the strength of the following: thesis statement, supporting content, grammar, & punctuation. To apply for this scholarship, mail your essay, as well as a cover letter stating your name, address, email, & current school affiliation to the following address:
