Scottie Girls Basketball Team Headed To State

The Scottie girls basketball team is headed to state, after topping Poplar in the Northern B Challenge Game on Monday night in Wolf Point. Glasgow's impressive defense in the second half helped them to the 43-26 victory. The game was tied 25 all after three quarters, but the Scottie full-court defense held Poplar to just one point in the final 8 minutes.

Joely Chappell scored 16, Emma Mandeville 10 and Alexa Ball 7 to lead the Scotties in scoring.

Glasgow will open up the state tournament in Bozeman against Baker, the #1 team in the state. That game will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday and will air on KLTZ.
