Scottie Softball Splits Friday Games

The Scottie softball team competed at the Columbus Triangular on Friday, opening up with a loss to Stillwater 11-3
 
The Scotties next faced Huntley Project; trailing 10-4 heading into the bottom of the 5th, the Scotties exploded for 8 runs to take a 12-10 lead.
 
Huntley Project battled back with a run in both the 6th and 7th to tie things up.
 
In the bottom of the 7th, CharLee McColly sparked the rally with a leadoff single, then swiped second and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Kelbi Wersal drove her home with a walk-off single to seal the 13-12 victory.
 
The Scotties are now 1-1 on the year, and are next in action on Thursday, April 2nd in Glendive.
