National Weather Service Monthly Weather-Ready Briefing

The National Weather Service Monthly Weather-Ready Briefing was released on Tuesday.

The seasonal temperature outlook for northeast Montana for the next 3 months indicates that temperatures will be slightly above normal for northeast Montana. The 3-month precipitation outlook gives equal chances for more or less moisture.

The U.S. Seasonal Drought Outlook still shows a drought tendency into July for most of the western U.S.

Northeast Montana is just on the edge of the "No Drought" status. Valley County was helped with the nearly 2 inches of moisture that came this month, which currently has the Glasgow National Weather Service office readings at 1.04 inches ahead of the average for the month, and 1.12 inches ahead of the average for the year so far.
