Wolf Point Schools Closed Due To Social Media Threat

The Wolf Point School District has announced that school is cancelled for today (March 17, 2026) due to a social media threat. The statement notes that the safety of the students and staff is the top priority. 

From Fort Peck Tribal Law Enforcement:

On the early morning hours of March 17th, 2026. It was brought to the attention of law enforcement of a social media post regarding the threat of violence to the Wolf Point School systems.
 
Officers treated the threat as a viable one. Officers did make contact with certain persons of interest on the matter.
 
Law enforcement are currently investigating the situation. Procedures were put into motion to protect the community. The public will be updated as needed.
