Community Support Moves Valley County Food Bank Project Forward

(Press Release) The Valley Community Food Bank extends its sincere thanks to the Valley County community for its generous support of the campaign to build a new food storage and distribution center.

With strong community backing, the project has reached several important milestones. Land adjacent to the current food bank site has been purchased, building plans have been completed, and a general contractor has been hired. With the fundraising goal now in sight, preparations are underway to break ground and begin construction this spring or early summer.

The Building Committee, chaired by Patrick Gilchrist, welcomes proposals from any contractors interested in working on the project. Committee members are available to share plans, answer questions, and receive feedback from community members interested in the project. You can reach us at contact@vcfb.org.

The new facility will provide expanded storage and improved space for food distribution, helping the food bank continue serving Valley County families in need.

The Valley Community Food Bank is grateful to the many individuals, businesses, and organizations whose support is helping make this important project possible.
