MSU Listening Session May 7th

MSU Extension in Valley County is hosting a listening session for input from the region on Montana State University’s strategic plan under new president Dr. Brock Tessman, on Thursday, May 7th, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Community Room of the Courthouse.

The event is free & open to anyone interested in sharing their suggestions for Montana State University.

Montana State University is engaging communities across the state to gather input on priorities, opportunities & challenges that will guide the university’s direction in the years ahead. Community input from these conversations will directly inform MSU’s next strategic plan, which organizers expect to be finalized in 2026. The listening session will include a facilitated discussion focused on key questions about MSU’s role in supporting students, strengthening communities, & contributing to Montana’s economic & social well-being. Organizers encourage attendees to share their ideas, experiences & priorities.
