The Glasgow School Board met in regular session on Wednesday.

Action items taken by the Glasgow School Board:

Approved rehiring 51 Glasgow School teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. The educators rehired all currently have tenure.

Agreed to pay dues to the Montana School Board Association at a year cost of $7447.00.

Accepted the FY 2024/2025 audit conducted by Strom and Associates. 

Voted to put on the ballot a General Fund Levy request in the amount of $37,351.30. The School Election will be held May 5th. The school district didn't run a levy request in 2025 put this year the school board voted to ask the voters to fund the district at the maximum 100% allowable. The $37,351.30 is approximately 2.72 mills and is for the purpose of operating and maintaining the schools. 

Approved the 2027/2028 school calendar which was compiled by school educators, administration and school board members. 

School enrollment continues to decline with a February enrollment of 737 which is down from 767 last year at this time. The enrollment at the start of this school year was 759.
