Job Title: Pool Manager - $15.00 or DOE

The pool manager is directly responsible for the daily operation of the municipal swimming pool. Duties include but are not limited to; staff scheduling, supervision and evaluation, and public relations. Applicants must be a good communicator and possess strong leadership skills. The Pool Manager must have or take lifeguard training and WSI training which is offered by the employer. The Pool Manager will make sure that all rules and regulations are followed. The Pool Manager will make sure lifeguards are monitoring activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide swimming instructions to individuals in a class setting. The hours and days of the work week will vary based upon size of classes and number of people who are attending open swim sessions. Applicants are subject to background checks. Will report directly to the Recreation Department Director. Applications due May 1, 2026.

Job Title: Head Lifeguard - $14.75/hr or DOE

Head Lifeguard must have or take lifeguard training and WSI training which the employer offers. The Head Lifeguard will assist the Pool Manager to make sure that all rules and regulations are followed. The head lifeguard will monitor activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide swimming instructions to individuals in a class setting. Will check pool chemical levels daily and record data; keep order, caution swimmers and maintain order in the pool area and oversee the safety of all patrons. The hours and days of the work week will vary based on the size of classes and the number of people attending open swim sessions. Job Title: Ball Field Maintenance - $14.50/hr
Description: Will perform duties as directed by the Recreation Department Director. This position requires ability to perform physical duties throughout the shift and work in varied weather conditions. Having knowledge of small engine repair, turf maintenance and landscaping care will be a real plus. Requires a valid Montana driver's license. Will perform physical activities such as, but not limited to; mowing, trimming, raking, shoveling, sweeping, painting, lifting, cleaning, cutting grass, pulling weeds, drag and lining diamonds, picking up and disposing of trash, watering and field maintenance of the ballpark. This job will last through the summer months. Applications due May 1, 2026.

Job Title: Recreation Instructor - $14.50/hr
Description: Recreation instructors teach youth classes from June to August (four, two-week sessions). Requires basic classroom knowledge of recreation, teaching, physical education and coaching. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, energetic personality and ability to work closely with children and be good leaders and role models. Previous experience in arts and crafts, athletics, archery, and fishing is desired. Instructors will implement games, sports and craft classes, oversee youth and their safety, and complete daily lesson plans. Applications due May 1, 2026.
