Dannie Lee Stroh, 75, of Glasgow, Montana passed away August 17, 2026 at his home in Glasgow. As per his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Online condolences may be left for the family at bellmortuarymt.com.
Dannie was born October 30, 1950, at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada to Walter Lee and Dorothy Jean (Stevens) Stroh. The family later moved to Opheim, Montana where he attended school.
He enlisted into the Army at 18, and after boot camp he was sent to Da Nang, in North Viet Nam from 1968 to 1969, where he was a helicopter maintenance.
After his discharge he worked at Mare Island, California building Toyota cars and then went on to have his own carpentry business for several years. Then he decided to come back home to Opheim and Glasgow, where he retired.
Dannie is preceded in death by his parents and half- brother, Walter. He is survived by his children: Heather Stroh and Naithan Stroh both of Vallejo, California; four grandchildren; sisters: Colleen Martinson of Glasgow, Montana, Marsha Weaver of Tallahassee, Florida, and Clara Stahl of Billings, Montana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
