Glasgow School Board Meeting

The Glasgow School Board me for their regular May meeting Wednesday evening. 

Action items:

In a board reorganization, Blaine White was selected as Board Chair and Chrissa Nelson was selected as Vice-Chair. 

Blaine White and Whitney Tatafu were sworn in for 3-year terms on the Glasgow School Board after being elected by acclamation.

Zach Handley and Ryan Hartwell were hired as Summer Strength and Conditioning Coaches at a salary of $2,679 each. Colby Minert was hired as High School Flag Football Coach at a salary of $2,579.

The board approved a resolution authorizing a obsolete equipment sale on May 13th.

A resolution was approved requesting that Valley County conduct the 2027 School Election. 

The board approved joining the Montana Rural Education Association at a cost of $2500.

The enrollment report showed a April K-12 enrollment of 742 which is up from 736 in March. This compares to 757 students in 2025.
