Hi-Line Sportsmen Scholarships

All Valley County high school seniors are eligible to apply for a substantial college scholarship that will be awarded in this spring by the Hi-Line Sportsmen. Since the inception of the Barb Marsh & Mark Jackson memorial scholarship, Hi-Line Sportsmen have donated $28,500 in funds to 25 Valley County college-bound seniors. In keeping with the wildlife-conservation mission of the Hi-Line Sportsmen, scholarship applicants must possess a valid Montana hunting license. Other considerations are community service, participation in hunting & conservation-oriented activities, & 2 letters of reference. Application materials are available from guidance & career counselors at these Valley County high schools: Glasgow, Nashua, Opheim, Hinsdale, Frazer, & Lustre Christian High School. Application deadline for the scholarship is May 1, 2026. Incomplete applications or applications postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted. Hi-Line Sportsmen is a group of volunteers committed to promoting wildlife conservation, landowner-sportsmen relations, hunting & fishing access, & promoting the involvement of young & beginning hunters & anglers in Valley & neighboring counties. Contact Jenn Jackson, 406-263-7339 or jennjenn910@gmail.com for information about the scholarship.
