Tucker Gene Dees

Tucker Gene Dees, age 29, of Fort Peck, Montana, passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of July 31, surrounded by his family and beloved dog. His precious spirit left this earth with those who loved him most by his side. 

Tucker was born on August 30, 1996, in Glasgow, Montana, to Rod and Deb Dees. He grew up alongside his two adoring sisters, Karli and Noel, who cherished him deeply. 

Tucker was a helper. It has been said many times by many people that he was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He attended schools in Glasgow, Great Falls, Huntley Project, and Billings, later continuing his education at the Billings College of Technology and MSU Northern, where he pursued welding—his true passion.  

He loved anything with wheels: four-wheelers, motorcycles, skateboards, race cars, monster trucks, diesel trucks, and Big Bud tractors. He took great pride in his work helping fabricate them at Big Equipment in Havre, a job he was especially proud of. Tucker loved fishing with his uncles and his cousin Taylor at the Dredge Cuts, cruising across Fort Peck Dam in “Whiplash” with music blaring, and stopping to catch a sunset photo. Above all, he loved “home.”  

Tucker is survived by his parents, Rod and Deb Dees; his sister Karli (Matt) Nesby; his sister Noel Beadle; his loyal dog, Doogie Schnauzer; his grandmother, Lois Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He is reunited in peace with his grandfather, Ed “Humpty” Dees; his grandmother, Louise Linner; his grandfather, Gene Reimche; and his grandfather, Werner Schmitt. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Evangelical Church in Glasgow, with Tom Fauth officiating. A private burial will follow. Online condolences may be left for the family at bellmortuarymt.com.

For the service, Tucker’s family invites everyone to wear black shirts and jeans, as that is what Tucker would have worn.
