Bridger Pipeline Hosting Public Meetings on Proposed Oil Pipeline
Bridger Pipeline LLC is hosting two open public meetings to share details about its proposed 36-inch diameter steel heavy crude oil pipeline project in Montana, conducted as part of the Montana Major Facility Siting Act application process. Both sessions will present the same information.

Project Details & Need: Explanation of why the expansion is needed and presentation of maps showcasing the proposed route and alternatives.
Public Input & Community Feedback: Bridger seeks community input on potential impacts—including land use, local economy, natural resources, social factors, and taxation—as well as concerns from nearby landowners and residents.
Q&A and Submissions: Attendees can ask questions directly and submit written comments in person or via QR code.

The proposed Bridger Pipeline Expansion would transport crude oil from the existing Keystone XL Canadian Segment in Alberta, Canada to a proposed 647-mile pipeline traveling through parts of Northern and Eastern Montana and Eastern Wyoming. Though there are similarities to the cancelled US segment of the Keystone XL pipeline, the project proposed a different route. If constructed, the project would transport up to 550,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
- Origin: U.S.–Canada border in Phillips County, Montana, connecting to the proposed Prairie Connector pipeline.
- Terminus: Guernsey crude oil terminal hub in Guernsey, Wyoming.
- Montana Counties Crossed: Phillips, Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Roosevelt, Richland, Wibaux, Fallon, and Carter.
