Airport Operations at Valley County Airport

Full Time - $18.00 to $20.00 (DOE) per hour with benefits.
Shift varies: Mornings, afternoon/evening, weekends, holidays, overnight on-call.
Morning shift is 6a.m. - 2:30p.m., Afternoon/Evening Shift: 11:30a.m. – 8p.m., On Call 7-10 nights per month.
Airport operations responsibilities include:
Customer Service: Working directly with pilots, passengers, various government agencies & contractors. Servicing aircraft with fuel, oil, oxygen, & de-icing, towing, parking, & marshalling aircraft. Working in all weather conditions to ensure the safe & efficient operation of the airport. Snow removal & lawn care with both heavy equipment & manual tools. Monitor airport conditions & respond to emergency situations. Perform maintenance on vehicles, buildings & grounds & janitorial cleaning. Additional duties as assigned by the department head. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license & pass a background check to work with commercial passenger aircraft.
