Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

Sunday, April 26th is the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. As with the Olympic Games, Special Olympics has a torch to carry across Montana in preparation for the State Games in Billings May 14 - 16. Area athletes & supporters will be traveling a total of 120 miles (the distance from Wolf Point to Malta) to get the flame to its final destination…Billings. If supporters want to be a part of this, then meet at Milk River Activity Center Sunday at 11:45a.m. At noon they will walk to Opportunity Bank with the Milk River Stars team. Once there the run/jog/walk will start. Participants will be asked to each travel one mile. The course is determined - Following the run will be a barbecue sponsored by Opportunity Bank & Reynolds. If participants want an event t-shirt they are asked to make a $20, or more, donation to SOMT (Special Olympics Montana).
