The North Country Lady Mavericks defeated the Roy-Winifred Outlaws 43-38 in the Semifinal round of the State C Girls' Basketball Tournament in Lockwood. The Lady Mavericks were led in scoring by Kia Wasson with 14, Teagan Erickson scored 9, and Kaitlyn McColly chipped in 8. Roy-Winifred was led by Isabelle Heggem with 17, while Trinity Edwards added 14. The Mavericks advance to the state championship game on Saturday night at 5 PM. Roy-Winifred will face Plentywood on Friday at 1:00 PM in a loser-out contest.

The North Country Lady Mavericks fell to the Fort Benton Longhorns in the State Class C Girls' Championship game. The game was close from start-to-finish, with Fort Benton pulling away by hitting their free throws in the fourth quarter. The Lady Mavericks finished a fantastic season as they receive the State Class C runner-up trophy.
