Glasgow Elks Lodge Awards Scholarships

The Glasgow Elks Lodge #1922 has awarded scholarships to the following graduating seniors from Malta, Glasgow and Hinsdale High Schools.

 

The recipients are:

 Dawson Hammond – Malta High School.  Dawson plans to attend the University of Montana – Missoula majoring in Business Management.  He was an athlete for the Malta Mustangs in football and track.  Additionally, he was involved in Big Sky Builders 4h Club, Malta Lutheran Church, National Honor Society and performed at the District and State Music Festivals.

Riley Clampitt from Glasgow High School.  Riley will be attending Carroll College in Biology on a pre-med track.  Riley was very involved in Student Council, Unified Partners (Special Olympics), Key Club and National Honor Society.

Linden Holt – Hinsdale High School.  Linden will be attending Montana State University – Bozeman and pursue a degree from the MSU film school.  In high school, Lindon was an FFA member, 4H member for 12 years and the Hinsdale Lutheran Church. 

 

 

The Glasgow Elks Lodge #1922 provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors that attend Whitewater, Opheim, Glasgow, Hinsdale, Nashua, Malta or Saco schools. Recipients are chosen based on academic Information, involvement in school, church and community activities, volunteerism, and letters of recommendation from faculty and community members.

 

These funds are disbursed through the Montana Community Foundation.
