The researchers wrote, "The stolen fry emerges as an improbable exemplar of how human reward circuitry converts social risk into sensory poetry."

The NeeDoh obsession is real … If you’ve heard kids — or parents — asking nonstop for something called NeeDoh, you’re not alone. The squishy stress toy has become one of 2026’s biggest surprise obsessions, and it’s nearly impossible to find. Toy stores say phones are ringing off the hook, lines form before restocks, and shelves empty out almost immediately—thanks largely to TikTok hype. Even though NeeDoh has been around for years, demand has exploded recently. That scarcity has fueled a resale frenzy, too, with NeeDoh bundles that retail for a few bucks showing up on eBay for hundreds of dollars. Stores are limiting purchases, resellers are cashing in, and a simple squeeze toy has turned into a full‑on scavenger hunt.

Starting July 1st, the free ride is over for driverless cars in California. For years, these "robot taxis" have been immune to traffic tickets because state law technically only allowed police to cite a human driver. But thanks to a new rule from the DMV, cops can now issue "notices of noncompliance" whenever a robot car blows a red light or cuts off a pedestrian. Instead of an officer pulling the car over and asking for "license and registration," the notice goes straight to the car company, which then has to respond to the complaint within 72 hours. If a company racks up too many of these "robot tickets," California can actually pull its permit and kick it off the road.

Leave it to an army of swingers to ruin the good time of a bunch of nudists. In the South of France lies the world’s largest nudist resort. Located in Cap d’Agde, it hosts as many as 40K visitors during its peak season. These days, a growing number of those people are swingers who are starting to outnumber those who just enjoy feeling it all flap in the breeze. What started as a new trend about 30 years ago has now become regular sightings of people who can’t keep their sexual activities private, and a whole other batch of people seeking out those activities so they can enjoy the view on an extremely personal level. “Sexual exhibitionism” is posted as illegal, and can be subject to hefty fines, but many say the problem has gotten bigger than that…making those laws tougher to enforce.
