Poplar Man Killed in Rollover East of Wolf Point

A Poplar man was killed and two others were seriously injured in a rollover crash east of Wolf Point early Saturday morning.
 
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 12:27 a.m. on June 6 on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 593 in Roosevelt County.
 
MHP reports a Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control and exited the roadway. The vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver and one passenger. Another passenger became trapped inside the vehicle.
 
John FastHorse of Poplar was pronounced dead at the scene. An adult male and an adult female passenger were transported for treatment of serious injuries.
 
According to MHP, alcohol, marijuana and failure to wear a seat belt are suspected factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation. An autopsy was scheduled through the Roosevelt County Coroner's Office.
