Steak Fry at the VFW
The Glasgow VFW is having a Steak Fry this Friday the 26th. Serving is from 5 - 7p.m. & cost is $25 per plate. All are welcome to come enjoy this delicious steak dinner at the Glasgow VFW.
Independence Bank's Customer Appreciation Tailgate BBQ
Independence Bank is having a Customer Appreciation Tailgate BBQ this Friday at Scottie Football Field from 5:30p.m. ‘til gone. They will be serving burgers, chips & cookies & the 2025 Scottie T-shirts will be available.
Glasgow Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
The Glasgow Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast is Sat. Sept. 27th from 7 – 11a.m. at Prairie Ridge Village. Cost is $10 per person, with children under 5 free when accompanied by an adult. Proceeds used locally for Kiwanis Service Projects.
Nashua Volunteer Fire Department's Fall Fundraiser
The Nashua Volunteer Fire Department will have their Fall Fundraiser Sat. Oct. 4th beginning at 5p.m. at the Nashua Civic Center. The meal will be provided by Doris Ozark, & dessert provided by Jason Myers. There will be a silent auction & a live auction with Justin Fuhrman as the auctioneer, raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing, chicken shit bingo, & a booze cooler.
HLYH Gun A-Day Raffle
Hi Line Youth Hockey is once again having their Gun A-Day Raffle in the month of November. Tickets are $50 each & are available at KLTZ/Mix-93, D&G Sorts & Western, Agland, the Mint Bar in Opheim or any HLYH Board member. With your ticket purchase, you have multiple chances to win as your ticket goes back in for each day’s drawing.
Fort Peck Senior Citizens Serving Breakfast at the Glasgow Invitational Cross Country Meet
The Glasgow Invitational Cross Country Meet will be held in Fort Peck at the Downstream Campground Sat. Oct. 4th, beginning at 9a.m. when kids walk/jog the course; the 1st race starts at 10a.m. The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will be having a pancake breakfast that morning at Shelter #4 in Kiwanis Park from 8 - 11:30a.m. Cost of the meal is $5 for 2 pancakes, 3 sausages, coffee, cocoa, or water. This would be a great way to fill your stomach & support the local Sr. Citizens at the same time. Money raised is used to support various groups within Valley County. Supplemental funding will be provided by Thrivent Financial.
Lewistown Gun Show
The Lewistown Gun Show is Oct. 10, 11, & 12 at the Trade Center at the Fergus County Fairgrounds. Admission is $10, good for all 3 days, with children 12 & under free when accompanied by an adult. Annual All Handcrafted Holiday Bazaar
The Annual All Handcrafted Holiday Bazaar is Sat. Nov. 22nd at the Glasgow Civic Center from 9a.m. - 3p.m. Hosted by Chapter U, P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization. Ranchers Stewardship Alliance “Gut Check”
Are you a rancher or farmer who cares about the quality of the food you produce? A consumer concerned about what you’re eating. Or someone who just knows you could be feeling better? Then join the Ranchers Stewardship Alliance at the Malta Readiness Center for “Gut Check” Sat. Oct. 11th. This workshop will feature eco-nutritionist Sara Keough discussing how soil health shapes human health & why it matters for your body, the land, &, if you’re in agriculture, the food you produce.
