The North Country Mavericks girls' basketball team defeated the Circle Wildcats 64-20 in the first round of the Eastern C Girls' basketball tournament in Sidney on Wednesday Morning. The Lady Mavericks were led in scoring by Teagen Erickson with 13, and Jacee Erickson added 12. The Mavericks will advance to the Semifinals on Thursday at 5:00. They will play the winner of the Froid-Medicine Lake vs. Lustre contest. Circle will play at 1:00 on Thursday, and will play the loser of that game.

The Lustre Christian Lady Lions fell to the Medicine Lake/Froid Redhawks 58-25 in the first round of the Eastern C Divisional Girls' Basketball Tournament. The Lady Lions were led in scoring by Reddig with 9 points, while the Redhawks were led by Dethman with 16, Cristofferson added 13, and Davidson chipped in 12. With the victory, the Redhawks advance to a semifinal contest against the North Country Lady Mavericks at 5:00 on Thursday evening. The Lady Lions will take on the Circle Wildcats at 1:00 on Thursday afternoon in a loser-out contest.

The North Country Lady Mavericks defeated the Froid/Lake Redhawks in an Eastern C Divisional Tournament Semifinal contest in Sidney on Thursday night. The Mavericks were led in scoring by Kaitlyn McColly with 15 points, Kia Wasson scored 13, Teagen Erickson added 11, and JC Erickson chipped in 10. The Redhawks were paced by Sidney Dethman with 9 points. The Lady Mavericks advance to the Championship game at 5:00 on Saturday night. They will face the winner of the Plentywood vs. MonDak semifinal contest. The Redhawks will take on the Scobey Lady Spartans on Friday at 1:00 PM in a loser-out contest.

The Scobey Lady Spartans defeated the Circle Wildcats in the Consolation Game of the Eastern C Divisional Tournament in Sidney. Scobey was led in scoring by Gracee Lekvold with 24 points. The Wildcats were led by Alexis Moline with 10 points. With the victory Scobey will play a challenge game against the loser of the Championship game between North Country and Plentywood.

The North Country Lady Mavericks defeated the Plentywood Wildcats in the Eastern C Divisional Championship Game. The Lady Mavericks were led in scoring by Kaitlyn McColly with 22 points, Kia Wasson added 18, while Jacee Erickson chipped in 16 points. The Wildcats were led by Brensdahl with 16 points. The Lady Mavericks will move on to the state tournament, while Plentywood will square off with Scobey in a challenge game.
