Kltz/Mix-93 Providing Coverage of State Softball And State Track
Kltz/Mix-93 will provide coverage of this weekends State Softball Tourney and State Track and Field Meet. We will have inning by inning coverage of the State Softball Tourney and updates from the State Track Meet on Friday and Saturday. If the Scottie Softball team advances to state championship game on Saturday we will broadcast the entire game!
The Scottie Softball team lost to Florence 12-2 in a quarterfinal game Friday morning. They will play again at 1:30pm.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says President Barack Obama opposes a House bill that would speed approval of the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada to Texas.

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Authorities have identified two men involved in a fatal shooting during an apparent break-in at a home outside Helena.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff identified the homeowner as 66-year-old James Stiffler.
Stiffler told authorities he arrived at his home Wednesday and found an intruder inside. Police say Stiffler confronted the intruder and shot him in the chest.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Most evacuated residents of a flood-threatened North Dakota city will be allowed to return home Friday.
The 1,300 residents were evacuated from Cavalier on Tuesday night while officials shored up a dam six miles west on the Tongue River. Five days of steady rain led to a 17-foot rise in the lake behind Renwick Dam.
