Glasgow Mosquito District is looking for 2 trustworthy individuals to drive & fog for adult mosquitoes during the evening hours. Applicants must be 18 years or older & have a valid driver’s license. Successful applicants will be required to follow rules, regulations, & wear provided safety attire. Job duties will be assigned when hired. These positions involve working with various chemicals & may require strenuous physical activity. Applicants must establish & maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, & the public. Applicants will be required to lift 50 pounds in the box of a pickup, refuel & maintain small engine foggers independently once trained. Hired individuals may be asked to perform other grounds duties & routine maintenance on Valley County grounds. Applicants may occasionally be asked to help Larvicide bodies of water performing long walks carrying a backpack sprayer or backpack blower while treating mosquito larva, thus, the ability of standing & walking for long periods is required. Applicants will be subject to reference checks. We are looking for responsible, honest, self-motivated & hardworking applicants. Positions start late May, early June & wrap up by the end of August or early September. Most of this required work will be during the evening hours.

Valley County Weed District has 4 full time seasonal positions open for the 2026 spray season.

Starting wage: $16.00

Applicators are needed for noxious weed control. Applicants must be 18 years or older & have a valid driver’s license. Looking for applicants that are willing to work outdoors & are able to lift up to 65lbs. Successful applicants will be required to follow rules, regulations, & wear provided safety attire. Job duties will be assigned when hired. These positions involve working with various chemicals & may require strenuous physical activity such as working in the heat, standing for extended periods of time & performing long walks on uneven ground carrying a backpack sprayer while applicating when needed. Applicants will spend hours operating & maintaining four wheelers & UTVS along with other shop work. Applicants must establish & maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, & the public. Employment will be subject to reference checks. HOUSEKEEPING POSITION SUMMARY:
Respond promptly to requests from guests & other departments. Identify & report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Maintain guestrooms, working areas, & the hotel premises in general in a clean & orderly manner. Starting wage $15.00, full-time & part-time.
