GDA's Alive @ Five
Glasgow’s Downtown Assn.’s Alive @ Five is Wed. Sept. 18th from 5 – 8p.m. This month’s event is hosted by Rundle Suites & features Ashley Westcott. The Reverse Raffle winner will be announced, there will be kids activities, yard games, firetruck pull & more.
Valley County Transit/COA 4-Bears Casino Trip
Valley County Transit & the Valley County Council on Aging have planned a 3 day/2-night trip to 4-Bears Casino in New Town, ND Oct. 9th - 11th. The cost per person is $235 for double occupancy or $300 for single. Price includes bus transportation & motel room. The casino will provide promotional credits to each person. Reservations & payments for this trip are due by noon on Tues. Sept. 24th. Call Valley County Transit, 228-TRIP (8747), to reserve your seat. This trip is open to the public.
2024 Ranchers Stewardship Alliance Ranch Tour
Valley County is playing host for the 2024 Ranchers Stewardship Alliance Ranch Tour. You’re invited to join the rancher-founded, rancher-led nonprofit as they travel north of Glasgow Tues. Oct. 1st to visit the ranches of Jeff & Marisa Sather & Ashten & Janae Simpson. Regenerative agriculture, “home brew” fertilizer, direct-to-consumer marketing, reseeding to native grasses, solar wells, & grazing management will all be discussed. 22nd Annual Wild Bunch Art Show
The 22nd Annual Wild Bunch Art Show is Fri. & Sat. Sept. 20th & 21st at the Cottonwood Inn & Suites. The Grand Opening is Friday from 5 – 8p.m. with a gourmet buffet compliments of Ezzie’s Wholesale. Saturday hours are 10a.m. – 7p.m. Admission is free to all visitors. Hi Line Youth Hockey Gun Raffle
Hi Line Youth Hockey is gearing up for their Gun Raffle. This is a gun-a-day drawing in the month of November. There is a limit of 600 tickets, $50 each, you need not be present to win, but you must be 18 to win. Tickets are available at the KLTZ/Mix-93 Studios, D&G Sports & Western, Agland Co-op, Stowaway Bar & Grill in Hinsdale, The Mint Bar in Opheim, or any Hockey Board member.
FREE DAY! At the McCone County Museum & Town & Country Day in Circle
FREE DAY! At the McCone County Museum & Town & Country Day in Circle, MT Sat. Sept. 21st. The McCone County Museum will have free admission from 1 – 5p.m. They proudly exhibit 10,000+ artifacts of historical interest, from an early settler schoolhouse to a train caboose & train depot. All are invited to stop in & enjoy the many amazing displays of our area’s natural & indigenous wonders, pioneer & homesteader heritage, & ranching, farming, & sheepherding history. Along with free admission to the museum there is a free breakfast from 7 – 9a.m., parade at 10a.m., Gallery Shoot at the Memorial Building, free Bingo at the VFW from 12:30 – 2:30p.m., Free BBQ at 5:30p.m. at the McCone Electric Garage & a Free Dance at the VFW at 9p.m. with music by Sideways! Auditions for The Pied Piper
Fort Peck Fine Arts Council along with the Missoula Children’s Theatre presents The Pied Piper Sat. Oct. 5th, matinee show at 1p.m., evening show at 6p.m., cost is $5. Auditions for this will be Mon. Sept. 30th from 4:30 – 6:30p.m. at the GHS Auditorium. Auditions are open to all Valley County students, kindergarten through 8th grade. You may register your child by Fri. 19th Annual Nashua Firemen's Assoc. Dinner & Auction
The 19th Annual Nashua Firemen’s Association Dinner & Auction is Sat. Oct. 5th at the Nashua Civic Center. Dinner, catered by Doris Ozark, starts at 5p.m. with events going until 9p.m. There will be Silent Auction, 50/50 tickets, raffle prizes & Chickenshit Bingo. All are welcome & encouraged to attend.
