Soroptimist Thrift Store
The Soroptimist Thrift Store is open Monday – Friday from 10a.m. – 4p.m., closed Saturdays until further notice. They are accepting donations, but no large items will be accepted. Masks are required to enter the store.
Nashua Volunteer Fire Department Raffle
The Nashua Volunteer Fire Department is sorry to announce that due to COVID-19 they will not be able to host their annual Fireman's Ball/BBQ this year. This fundraiser is relied upon every year to help with equipment upgrades so the department runs smoothly & the volunteer firemen have what they need to fight fires. Last year they were able to acquire new radios with the funds from the fundraiser. In lieu of the annual Ball/BBQ they have put together a raffle for this year & would love your support. Tickets can be purchased at D&G, Markle's Warehouse, Cherry Creek Gear Shop, BS Central or any member of the Nashua Volunteer Fire Department. Drawing will be held Dec. 1st. There have been some big changes at Wild Child Boutique & you’re invited to come in & check out their new & gently used baby & kids clothing, baby items & home decor! Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery Classes
Now is the time to get started on making those special Christmas gifts. Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery is offering private class time to paint ceramic pieces with 3 styles of coffee mugs, flowerpots or light switch plates. Space is limited to family members or a group of 4 & masks & social distancing are required per mandate. Class times will be the customer's choice of afternoon or evening. Contact the Gallery at 230-0148 to reserve your time & space. Take home kits are also available. Projects must be completed by Dec. 10th to allow for 2 weeks mail delivery with local projects completed by Dec. 19th to be ready for Christmas.

Ceramic Christmas Ornament Class at Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery
Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery will have a Ceramic Christmas Ornament class Wed. Dec. 2nd at 6:30p.m. Participants will hand build clay ornaments with cookie cutters & paint with underglaze. The cost is $12 per person which includes 2lbs of clay, underglaze, clear glazing & firing. Sign up at the Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery or contact Mary at 230-0148.
17th Annual Festival of Trees is Back On!!
The 17th Annual Festival of Trees is back on! Through the efforts of Kevin Taylor, Holly Hunziker & Taylor Storage, they will be bringing us an online version Sat. Dec. 5th at 2p.m. Kevin will livestream an auction of items on the Taylor Auction Services Facebook page. ALL proceeds will go to the Valley County HOPE Project to help Valley County residents with their medical expenses. Up to 30 items (trees, wreaths, centerpieces or wall hangings) can be sold. Teams/individuals can start dropping items off at the Taylor Auction building (behind the State of Montana High Department building on Hwy 2 West) Wed. Dec. 2nd. They can accommodate up to 3 teams at a time coming in to set up their items on Dec. 2nd & 3rd from 6 – 8p.m. & again Fri. Dec. 4th from 5 - 7p.m. If these times do not work, please contact Kevin and/or Holly, to make arrangements. Please bring an extension cord with your item if it needs to be plugged in. As items are added, they will be photographed & added to the Taylor Auction Services Facebook page & the Valley County HOPE Project Facebook page. People will be allowed to send in pre-bids prior to the event by emailing Holly @ firstname.lastname@example.org. They need to include the item number, their name & the maximum amount they will bid, we will not run up the bid to their max if bidding doesn't go that high. "Local Little Christmas"
“Local Little Christmas” is back! A program from the Glasgow Chamber, Local Little Christmas rewards shoppers for keeping their money local. From now through December 31st, bring your receipts in to the Chamber. For every $100 you spend at participating businesses, you’ll receive one entry into the Local Little Christmas giveaway. Thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be given away in the form of local gift certificates & Chamber Big Bucks. Receipts need to be turned in by noon January 6, 2021. Some restrictions apply. Drawings will be held in January. Make sure to use the hashtag #LocalLittleChristmas on social media to help spread the word!

The Valley Community Food Bank, located at 1020 1st Ave. No., is open the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 12noon-4p.m. If this is your 1st time applying for assistance from the food bank, please bring a photo ID & proof of your physical residence.
