The GDA’s Summer Concert Series Alive @ Five continues Thurs. July 17th by Rundle Suites. Live music with Lindsay Lawlis, food from A E Catering & Oasis Pizza, kid’s activities, yard games, & a firetruck pull. All are welcome to attend!
10th Annual FORE The Kids Cup Golf Tournament
The 10th Annual FORE The Kids Cup Golf Tournament is Sat. July 19th at Sunnyside Golf Course. Registration is at 9a.m. with Tee Off starting at 10a.m. 2 Person Teams, Chapman Format, $75 for adults (18+), $25 for youth - includes lunch & Mulligans. Come play to help raise money for a scholarship for local youth golfers. Call Sunnyside to register, 406-228-9519.
Annual Alvie Hallock Fun Run
The Annual Alvie Hallock Fun Run is Sat. July 19th. Meet at the Fort Peck Marina Dock, look for 1st Draw from 11a.m. – 12noon, then off to York Island from 1 - 4p.m. for Draw 2, then back to the Marina for the final Draw from 5 – 6p.m.
Montana Warriors on the Water Annual Fundraiser
The Montana Warriors on the Water Annual fundraiser is Sat. July 26th at the Fort Peck Marina. There will be dinner served at 6p.m. followed by live music with “SIDEWAYS”, live & silent auctions, plus numerous raffles for guns & other prizes.
Northeast Montana Fair Activities
The Northeast Montana Fair kicks off with the 4-H Horse Show Thurs. July 31st & Fri. Aug. 1st at 8a.m. both days. On Tues. Aug. 5th the PRCA Slack begins at 8a.m. & continues Wed. Aug. 6th, the 5th also has Open Class Exhibit Entry from 11a.m. – 6p.m. The Border Plains & Glasgow Auto Sales PRCA Rodeo & Wild Horse Race is Tues. Aug. 5th & Wed. Aug. 6th at 7p.m. each evening with Wild Pony Calcutta at 6p.m. each evening. Friday the 8th is the 4-H Livestock Sale at 4p.m. & the 20 Dollar Hollar Concert with opener Poppa Bear Norton & headliner Speak Eezy at 7p.m. Saturday the 9th has the 4-H Farm Olympics at 1p.m. & 4-H Awards Ceremony at 3:30p.m., the Milk River Motorsports Demolition Derby Calcutta is at 6p.m. with Derby to follow. There will also be Live Band Entertainment in the Beer Garden area following the Derby. The Dreamland Carnival runs Wed. Aug. 6th – 9th with P.O.P. tickets on sale through Aug. 5th; Independence Free Stage acts are the 7th – 9th; The Oink Quack Moo Zoo is the 6th - 8th; Flatland Cruisers’ Car Show is in the Event Center is also the 6th – 9th. There will be a Rock-Climbing Wall, good food at the various food booths, & plenty to go see.
