Shooting in Poplar Results in Arrests of Two Individuals

 UPDATE 2339 hrs, 10/07/26 
The second subject has been apprehended. There is no danger to the public at this time.
 Press Release from Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office:
 
At approximately 2030 hrs on 10/07/26, two adult males were reported to have been shot in Poplar. Both have been hospitalized.
 
Two other adult males are alleged to have been the shooters. Law enforcement has detained one subject, and the other remains at large.
 
No officers have been injured.
 
Please lock your doors and report any suspicious activity to RCSO dispatch at 406-653-6240.
