FCS, NAIA Football Polls Released for Week of October 27th
Tuesday, October 28th 2014
from KRTV

This weekend saw top teams fall in both the FCS and the NAIA. Two teams in the top five of the FCS poll lost and both of them were from the Big Sky, while another powerhouse in the NAIA also dropped a contest. After all of the chaos, here's how the rankings play out for your local teams.

North Dakota State remains at number one in the FCS poll, no surprise there. Eastern Washington moves down four spots to sixth after their loss to Northern Arizona. Bobcats move up two spots in their bye week. The Griz drop five spots for their loss to Cal Poly. And if the poll ranked more than 25 teams, Northern Arizona would come in at 27th. They are currently four votes away from being in the top 25, while Cal Poly would be right behind them at number 28.

NAIA polls also came out on Monday. Once again no surprises at number one, Morningside has owned that spot all season. Carroll moves up a spot after Baker loses. Southern Oregon is tied with Georgetown for the fifth spot. Rocky moves down eight spots after their 20-17 loss to Montana Western and Eastern Oregon moves back into the rankings after their 70-21 drubbing of MSU Northern. Montana Western also received three votes.
