Lunch with the Bobcats

Children's Museum
Spring hours are in place at the Children’s Museum of Northeast Montana. Shrug off the cold weather & let the kids play & learn indoors from 9a.m. - 12noon each Wednesday & Friday. Saturday hours are 10a.m.-3p.m. The Children’s Museum is ALWAYS in need of volunteers. Whether it be helping to staff the front desk, cleaning, building exhibits, or helping with special events, you can contact Stacey Fast at (406) 230-2517 to sign up. 6th Annual Cuisine For the Cure
The 6th Annual Cuisine For the Cure is Thurs. April 26th at 6p.m. at the Cottonwood Inn. This popular fund raiser helps raise money for the Northeast Montana Relay For Life. Select from Pies, Danish, Jamaican, Southern, Irish, Greek, British, Norwegian & more. Tickets are available at KLTZ/KLAN & the BS Central Office & are $20 each with only 150 being sold!

Glasgow Gun Show
The Glasgow Gun Show is scheduled for May 4th – 6th at the Civic Center. Mail your table reservation to Al Kwasinski, 516 No. Haynes Ave., Miles City, MT 59301. There will be firearms & accessories, antiques, coins, fishing tackle, crafts & miscellaneous items. Friday, 3 – 7p.m., Saturday, 9a.m. – 6p.m., & Sunday, 9a.m. – 3p.m. Cost is $3 per day or $5 for all 3 days, those under 12 are free when accompanied with an adult. Carnival Club Raffle for Cash
The Valley County Carnival club would like to remind you that they are selling RAFFLE FOR CASH TICKETS. Tickets are $20 each & every day the month of June you could win from $100 plus event tickets up to $250. You can win multiple times as your name goes back into the drawing. This fundraiser goes to help cover the expenses of the larger carnival that we had last year. Tickets are available at either Ezzie’s location, Ag-Land, Stoughies & Raider’s Quick Stop in Hinsdale, the Mint Bar in Opheim or contact Amanda Powell, 263-0813 or Nicole Cole, 263-1220. First United Methodist Church of Glasgow will have a Ham Dinner Sat. April 28th from 4:30 – 7p.m. Take-out will be available & delivery is free! Cost is $12 for senior citizens, $15 for adults/teenagers, $6 for children & preschool & younger are free. The Church is located at 500 1st Ave. North.

Glasgow Rodeo Committee Spring Fling Fundraiser
Everyone is welcome to the Spring Fling Fundraiser to benefit the Glasgow Rodeo Committee Sat. April 28th at Ridgerunners Saddle Club. Dinner will be served starting at 5:30p.m. They will have silent & live auction items & the Badland Music Company will be coming out of retirement to play music for one night only.

First Lutheran Preschool Early Registration
First Lutheran Preschool will be conduction an early registration period during April & May for the 2018/2019 school year. Registration fee is $25 per child, beginning June 1st, the registration fee will increase to $30. Children must be 3 years of age by Sept. 10th for the 2 day-a-week class, & at least 4 for the 3 day-a-week class. To register for the 2018/19 school year, stop by the church office during regular business hours or call 228-4862; bring a copy of your child’s immunization record if they are new to the preschool.

The 21st Annual Nashua Lion’s Talent Show “We’ve Got Talent” is Sun. April 29th at 2p.m. in the Nashua School Gym. Featuring local talent with sound system provided by Pippin DJ & Karaoke. Jeff Jurgens Memorial Scholarships
Applications are available from Valley County high school counselors for the Jeff Jurgens Memorial Scholarships, presented by the Scottie Booster Club. This substantial scholarship is awarded annually to Valley County students who meet these criteria: Are attending or plan to attend a state or private college, university, industrial, trade, or technical school in Montana or an adjacent state.; And who either played high school varsity basketball or are pursuing a degree/career in a medical or health-related field. 2018 Valley View Health Screening
The 2018 Valley View Health Screening Event is slated for Wed. May 9th at Valley View Home. With over 10 different screening tests available covering organ functions to sugar screening & celiac disease to prostate cancer, the event will be held from 6 - 10a.m. If you have any questions, call Hayley, 228-2461. With the exception of diabetics, fasting is recommended for 12 hours beforehand. Take all prescribed medications, drink water, & wear loose-sleeved clothing. Breakfast will be available at the event.
