The Malta Area Chamber of Commerce is having Artisans & Farmers Markets throughout the summer at Trafton Park. The 1st event is scheduled for Tues. June 25th. The Connection Youth Center Raffle

"Increase Farm Profit with Soil Health" Workshop

There will be a workshop on "Increase Farm Profit with Soil Health" Wed. June 26th at the Pioneer Museum in Glasgow; registration is at 8:30a.m. with workshop & field demo from 9a.m. – 4:30p.m. The speaker is Nicole Masters, a soil educator who works with regenerative agriculture in New Zealand, Australia & Montana. Topics include reducing inputs, lifting your bottom line while paying it forward with healthy soil; & building resilience during climate uncertainty. The cost is $30/person, lunch included. As always, additional items are added daily; donations are always welcome; proceeds used locally.

“All you can eat” pancake breakfast in Opheim

The Opheim Student Council will be offering an “All you can eat” pancake breakfast Sun. June 30th at the Outpost Café in Opheim. Breakfast will be served from 7a.m. - 12noon. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, & coffee for just $10. The breakfast is being held to raise funds for student activities for the 2019-2020 school year. The Student Council often provides funds for trips & other activities throughout the school year. The breakfast is scheduled for the morning of the Opheim Rodeo, & the students hope to see everyone early for breakfast as they stay for the parade & rodeo.

Attention farmers, the 11th annual Northeast Montana Pulse Plot Tour will be held Mon. July 1st. All are welcome to start the day at 9:30a.m. on Dick & Darlene Fulton’s farm south of Richland & follow the tour as it moves to the Richland Fertilizer Plant for a sponsored lunch & more pulse discussion. VC Senior Citizens Breakfast

Glasgow Downtown Association presents Alive At Five/Hump Day 2019 in downtown Glasgow this summer. They invite all to join them at 3 downtown locations for live music, food, drinks & shopping. The 2nd 1st date is Wed. July 17th at the Glasgow Elks Parking Lot. All events are from 5 – 8p.m. with music from 5:30 – 7:30p.m. There will be Flash Sales throughout Glasgow – bring your receipts to the Chamber Office from this day (from any Chamber Member Merchant) by 12noon Fri.
