Nashua Lions Club is sponsoring roller skating on Sundays from 1 – 3p.m., running through March, 2018. Cost is $1.50 per skater with skates provided, or you can bring your own. Everyone is welcome.

The Soroptimist Thrift Store is open Mon. – Fri. 10a.m. – 4p.m., Saturdays 11a.m. – 3p.m. They have plenty of Snowball dresses, ice skates, Valentine’s & St. Patrick’s Day items are out, & LP’s are just 4 for $1.00 & they have a 6 piece drum set & stool in excellent condition. They are in need of donations of kitchen items, bedding & winter clothes. As always, new items are added daily; donations are always welcome; proceeds used locally. For more info, call 228-8938.

Mosaic Class at Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery
Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery is hosting a Mosaic Class by Tom Marinkovich Sat. Jan. 27th from 10a.m. – 5p.m. & continuing Sun. 28th, from 11a.m. – 3p.m. Tom is a Havre Artist who was showcased at Glasgow's Wild Bunch Art show in November. Tom will guide the participants in cutting tile, designing patterns & finishing off with grouting on a flat plate & a cylinder. The cost is $125 which includes all materials & a soup lunch. A $10 nonrefundable deposit is required by Jan. 23rd & a minimum of 7 participants is required for the host. All deposits will be refunded if class is cancelled due to weather. Fry-bread Taco Bar at First Lutheran Church
Plan on a taco feast for the whole family Tues. Feb. 6th from 5-7p.m. at the First Lutheran Church. They’ll do the cooking & the dishes while you enjoy a delicious fry-bread taco bar. This is also a great opportunity to meet Pastor Todd. Meals are just $5 per person with a $20 family cap. All proceeds will benefit the First Lutheran Preschool scholarship fund. There will also be a silent auction on some wonderful local items, with bidding closing at 6:30p.m. All are welcome to this delicious event & donations are always accepted with our gracious thanks.
