US House candidates debate in Kalispell

KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) Republican Ryan Zinke and Democrat John Lewis are emphasizing their differences as they attempt to win over undecided voters in Montana's U.S. House election.

The wild card is Libertarian candidate Mike Fellows, who says the party candidates are compromised by big money and only he would work for more liberty and less government.

Early polling places scheduled for 9 ND cities

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) Voters in nine North Dakota cities will the opportunity to make early trips to the polls.

Secretary of State Al Jaeger says early voting will be available in Dickinson, Mandan, Bismarck, Minot, Jamestown, Casselton, West Fargo, Fargo and Grand Forks. Fargo will have two sites.

The first early polling site opens Monday at the Stutsman County Courthouse in Jamestown.

The election is November 4th.
