Wildlife agency drops hunter confidentiality plan

HELENA, Mont. (AP) Montana wildlife officials are dropping a proposal to keep confidential the names of hunters and trappers who kill wildlife in Montana.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) A U.S. Marine Corps recruiter accused of setting small fires at his workplace in Bismarck is charged in federal court. Anthony DeGroot is charged with arson. Authorities say he started the fires at the armed forces recruiting station on the day after Christmas. DeGroot pleaded not guilty at yesterday's arraignment in Bismarck.
