From Science to Solutions: Understanding Dementia & Building Skills for Positive Outcomes Seminar
From Science to Solutions: Understanding Dementia & Building Skills for Positive Outcomes Seminar is Tues. Sept. 25th from 10a.m. – 6p.m. for families, caregivers, is open to the public & free of charge. Register by Sept. 21st for this seminar. Wednesday & Thursday Sept. 26th & 27th, seminar is identical both days from 8:30a.m. – 5p.m., is for Professionals, with a cost of $45 per person; register for this seminar by Sept. 24th. Ranch & Pasture Noxious Weed Tour
All are welcome to join MSU Extension & the Valley County Weed District for a Ranch & Pasture Noxious Weed Tour Sat. Sept. 22nd. The day will get started at 1p.m. at Stoughie’s in Hinsdale & will include an afternoon tour & discussion of noxious weeds as well as an evening family barbecue. There is no charge, but they’d appreciate an RSVP by calling the Extension Office at 228-6241.

Hinsdale FFA will have a Harvest Dance
The Hinsdale FFA will have a Harvest Dance Sat. Sept. 22nd from 7 – 11p.m. at the Hinsdale Legion Hall. This is a casual dance to fundraise for the National FFA Trip. Everyone is welcome! Admission is $15 for adults, $20 for couples & $10 for students.

Soroptimist Thrift Store
The Soroptimist Thrift Store is open Mon. – Fri. 10a.m. – 4p.m., & Saturdays from 11a.m. – 3p.m. They have lots of school clothes in stock & plenty of baby items. Halloween, Fall items & cammo are out. They are cleaning out the back room so there is lots of new items. As always, additional items are added daily; donations are always welcome; proceeds used locally. The Thrift Store is currently looking for an someone to work Tuesdays & Wednesdays, from 10a.m. – 4p.m. If you are interested stop down to the Thrift Store.

Hi Line Youth Hockey is once again having their gun raffle. A gun a day will be given away during the month of November. Gun raffle tickets are $50 each with a limited number sold. The annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast will be Saturday, Sept. 29th from 7:00-11:00a.m. at the Glasgow Senior Citizen’s Center. Cost is $8.00 per person with children under 5 free when accompanied by an adult. The Saskatoon Police Pipes and Drums will perform at 10:30a.m. Please note the change of location to the Senior Center.

Two Rivers Economic Growth Annual Membership Meeting
Two Rivers Economic Growth will host the Montana Conversations program, “Montana Towns: Then, Now, Tomorrow" with storyteller Hal Stearns during their annual membership meeting on Tuesday, October 2, at the Cottonwood Inn and Suites. Social will begin at 5:30, dinner at 6:30, and the program at 7:00p.m., followed by a dessert auction. The meal and presentation are free and open to the public. Montana is a state of extremes with high mountains, great plains, half the population in five counties and ten others with another one-third of our residents. Northeastern Arts Network Concert
The First Concert for the 2018-2019 Big Sky Series from the Northeastern Arts Network is Kristen Estelle and the Heartstrings on Tuesday, Oct. 2nd at 7:00p.m. at the Glasgow High School Auditorium. Kristen Estelle, from Malta, was originally a classically trained clarinetist and she eventually wound her way to New York’s vocal jazz scene. Kristen’s melodies are full of wordplay and fun filled jest and is a fusion of Indie-Pop with a twist of jazz. Tickets are available at the door. For more information call 230-1285.
