The Soroptimist Thrift Store is open Mon. – Fri. 10a.m. – 4p.m., & Saturdays from 11a.m. – 3p.m. They have all winterwear out on the floor. Currently they do not want any donations of large furniture. As always, additional items are added daily; donations are always welcome; proceeds used locally. The Thrift Store will be closed Mon. Nov. 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.

VALLEY COUNTY PIONEER MUSEUM PIE SALE

The Valley County Pioneer Museum is making pies for a fundraiser this holiday season. Each pie is $15 and they will be taking orders until Tuesday, November 19th. Pies will be ready for pick-up at the museum on Monday, November 25th from 10am – 4pm. Pie varieties include: Apple, Cherry, Pumpkin, Pecan and Sour Cream Raisin. ANNUAL AAUW BAZAAR

The annual American Association of University Women bazaar is Sat. Nov. 23rd from 9:30a.m. - 3:30p.m. at the Glasgow Civic Center. Tables are still available for $30 each. All items sold at the bazaar must be homemade. Contact Roberta Barstad, 263-2747, or Carolyn Bachtold, 230-4429. AAUW is a nonprofit organization – bazaar proceeds go to their scholarship fund, Washington D.C. trip, Children’s museum & other local & state projects. Participating crafters include Bridget Stiverson’s fused glass, Ken Kautz, Eva English’s woodworking, Whitney Paju’s art work, Rebecca Marquardt’s bird feeders, Connie Tweeten’s art work, jewelry, Stich n Sisters, Simply Shabby, Wild Rags, Smittens & Things, custom tumblers, raffles (AAUW bread basket, Soroptimist’s Treasure chest), & Kiwanis candied nuts.


15TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF TREES

The 15th Annual Festival of Trees for Project HOPE will have their Prime Rib Dinner & Auction Fri. Nov. 22nd from 6 – 8p.m. with viewing Sat. Nov. 23rd from 9a.m. – 4p.m. all at the Glasgow Elks Lodge. You may purchase tickets in advance for $30, at KLTZ/Mix 93, BS Central or the Glasgow Elks.


FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH'S ANNUAL STEW FEED & PIE AUCTION

First Lutheran Church, of Glasgow, is having their annual Stew Feed & Pie Auction Sun. Nov. 24th. The Stew will start being served at 11:30a.m. by the youth at FLC with the pie auction to follow. All proceeds will go towards the First Lutheran Church Youth program & activities. Come for a wonderful meal, a chance to purchase a delicious pie, & some good old-fashioned fellowship & fun.

The Valley County Senior Citizens serve breakfast, featuring homemade regular & sourdough pancakes, sausage & eggs to order, the 1st Saturday of every month from 7 – 10a.m. Cost is $5 per person or $7.50 for those with big appetites.
