Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

The annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast will be on Sat. Sept. 21st from 7:00-11:00a.m. at Glasgow’s Senior Citizens Center. Cost is $8 per person, children under 5 are free when accompanied by an adult. All proceeds will be used locally for Kiwanis service projects. The Saskatoon Police Pipe Band will perform at 10:30a.m.

The Soroptimist Thrift Store is open Mon. – Fri. 10a.m. – 4p.m., & Saturdays from 11a.m. – 3p.m. They are having a “Closing Out Summer” Bag Sale through Sept. 28th. This includes all summer clothing & shoes ~ camo & hunting not included. They also have Glasgow Scottie apparel & gear out, as well as Halloween. As always, additional items are added daily; donations are always welcome; proceeds used locally. They ask that no large furniture items be donated.

HLYH Gun Raffle

Hi Line Youth Hockey will have their Gun Raffle in the month of November again this year. Tickets are $50 each & are available at Agland Co-op, Glasgow, DB’s Bar & Restaurant, D&G Sports & Western, KLTZ/Mix 93 Studios & The Mint Bar in Opheim. Winners are drawn each day for the month of November with names going back in the hat for a chance to win more than once. For more information call 263-1001.

Skip Erickson Memorial Fundraising Event

The Children’s Museum of Northeast Montana will have their “Skip Erickson Memorial Fundraising Event” Sat. Oct. 5th at the Glasgow Elks Lodge. Appetizers/Social is at 5p.m., Dinner & Silent Auction at 6:30p.m., Live Auction begins at 7:30p.m. Cost is $25 per person for museum members, $30 for non-members. 2019-2020 Big Sky Series: Rhythm & Ramble Quartet

Northeastern Arts Network announces the first concert in the 2019-2020 Big Sky Series. The Rhythm & Ramble Quartet is a jazz combo band based in Bozeman. This acoustic swing band founded upon a shared passion for pre-war American Jazz. They are also a dance Band. The concert will be held at the GHS Auditorium at 7 p.m. on October 1. Tickets available at the door or from any NAN Board Member.

VC Senior Citizens Breakfast

The Valley County Senior Citizens serve breakfast, featuring homemade regular & sourdough pancakes, sausage & eggs to order, the 1st Saturday of every month from 7 – 10a.m. Cost is $5 per person or $7.50 for those with big appetites.

“One Evening Printmaking Class” at the WAG

Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery will have a “One Evening Printmaking Class” - Monotypes & non-toxic etching class Sun. Oct. 13th, from 6 - 9p.m. This class will be given by Oklahoma artist Douglas G Gordan. The cost is $45 & is open to everyone over 14 years & of all skill levels.
