VFW Steak Fry
The Glasgow VFW will have their monthly Steak Fry Fri. May 26th. They will serve a delicious steak with all the trimmings from 5-7p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Soroptimist Thrift Store
The Soroptimist Thrift Store is open Mon. – Fri. 10a.m. – 4p.m. & Saturdays from 10a.m. – 2p.m. They have clothing & accessories for all ages along with a very nice wedding dress, & swimming suits for the whole family. As always, new items are added daily; donations are always welcome. Proceeds are used locally. For more info, call 228-8938. The Thrift Store will be closed Saturday & Monday, May 27th & 29th for the Memorial Day Holiday.

Milk River Motorsports 80’s & up Demolition Derby
Milk River Motorsports 80’s & up Demolition Derby is Sat. May 27th at the NE MT Fairgrounds. Drivers check-in from 11a.m. – 2p.m., with a mandatory driver’s meeting at 3p.m. Calcutta gets going at 5p.m. & the derby is at 6p.m. Tickets are available at the gate & there will be concessions & beer gardens.

Fort Peck Summer Theatre tickets
A reminder that all Fort Peck Summer Theatre tickets are on sale on-line. Go to www.fortpeckthreatre.org & follow the link to purchase tickets. Season, opening night passes & single performance tickets are available. Get yours early to get the best seat in the house. “School’s Out” Kid’s Carnival!
Join the Children’s Museum of Northeast Montana from 2-5p.m. Fri. June 2nd for the “School’s Out” Kid’s Carnival! Carnival games will adorn 2nd Ave. South with the block immediately in front of the Museum being closed. Along with the games will be a blow-up waterslide, so make sure to pack a swimsuit! Get unlimited slides for a $12 pass. Kids can buy tickets to play carnival games & exchange the tickets they win for fun prizes! Concessions, including cotton candy, will be available. The Children’s Museum is actively searching for volunteers to help with the event. For more information, contact the Children’s Museum of Northeast Montana at 228-4386.

Raffle Tickets Available to help pay for the cost of the Carnival
The NE MT Fair Carnival is scheduled for Aug. 2nd – 5th this year. There will be approximately 14 rides, 10 games & at least 1 food booth & the cost for this is $46,000.00. In an effort to help pay for this carnival Raffle Tickets are being sold. The tickets are $20 each with cash winners being drawn every day in the month of June. Tickets are available at Pizza Hut, Ezzie's Westend, Ezzie's Midtown, Agland, Holiday, Stoughie's in Hinsdale, the Mint Bar in Opheim, Wagon Wheel Bar in Nashua, & any Fair Board members.

DC Trip students' Car Wash at Lawrence Car
The DC Trip students will be hosting a Car Wash at Lawrence Car Wash Fri. June 2nd from 12:30 - 5p.m. The cost is a free will donation. Pick-up & delivery service will be available by calling 406-853-6603. Hot dogs, pop & baked goods will be available for sale. Proceeds from this event will help to cover the cost of their trip to Washington, DC in March of 2018.
